At MECONS, we have adequate arrangements and skills to take care of soil investigations, laboratory testing of collected soil samples and determining compatible foundation design. Steps involved are briefed as under:
  • Drilling of bore holes after regular intervals.
  • Taking soil samples after every meter.
  • Preparing bore logs describing nature of soil after every meter.
  • Sending soil samples for laboratory testing.
  • Sending bore logs and laboratory testing reports to geologist for his report on nature of soil and determining soil bearing capacity.
  • Determining foundation type by designers.
MECONS are prepared and adequately geared to carry out construction of HV/EHV transmission lines and equipment erection/ installation jobs of 132/220 kV substations, road construction projects and extensive building construction projects. We keep bidding against multi-dimensional construction project, offered in the public as well as private sector. We are equally ambitious to participate in projects being offered by both the sectors.
